Bruce and I were once again invited to the home of friends John and Yeda for an evening of good food, wine and lots of laughs. It was the occasion of John's XXth birthday.
Also on the guest list were Tom and Nadia... who met Tom while he was travelling in the Ukraine. They fell in love and she returned with him to the US and were recently married. Young Mark was there as well to round out the bunch.
Yeda made a delicious Brazilian cous-cous unlike any I've ever seen or tasted, and a butternut squash bisque. Both of which we brought home for later. Yeda... recipes please! I furnished the carrot cake for the birthday wishes. It was a great evening but now it's our turn to host! The bar is set very high.
