Though you’re going at a pace that is slower than expected, at least you get to spend more time admiring the view as you go along. Thank you for sharing this with us. All the best!

Kent Garner @ Whites Marine CenterAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07113144948589702706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5377250274517734866.post-68967651596072077802014-09-06T06:28:00.556-04:002014-09-06T06:28:00.556-04:00No kidding Cheryl! We really have no real plans in the works after the Bahamas this season. Lots of places to go! So little time!

It will be such a TREAT having our car. We are still debating trying to sell it or just store it at our daughter's house in Florida. Thanks for your comments and for always being there!
Tammy Swarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06779759048984133676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5377250274517734866.post-2639286373747998632014-09-04T11:52:38.811-04:002014-09-04T11:52:38.811-04:00Sounds like a good plan. I love that you are taking it slow and really getting a chance to see some of our great nation. I think you will find that having a car will open things up even more. I enjoy reading about the different marinas that you stay at and the anchorages as well. It is pretty amazing to me the difference in services. We enjoyed a very short stay on a friends boat in Abaco. The Bahamas were amazing. It will be a wonderful winter hideout I'm sure.

I don't know what your long range plans are; but I certainly hope you will make it as far as the Great Lakes at some point. We have beautiful coastlines, sandy beaches, gorgeous sunsets, neat little towns and friendly people. Michigan has spent quite a bit of money over the last few years upgrading our marinas. There are many that have anchorages for sailboats without fee. And the best part about the Great Lakes is they are unsalted and shark free!
