Um .. we're already frustrated working on the boat .. LOL! Sounds like a great summer overall, and I'm sure 2016 will be even better. Out here it is really just so much more of a challenge...but at least we have time to spend. I often wonder how we ever managed a boat, a house and a job! Oh, and the view is MUCH better out here. What you're really say is " Quit yer bitchin'". And I got it! Maybe he has some questions you can help with. Our biggest mystery is how running the solar panels with the engine and the generator all mesh. Any light you can shed would be appreciated. I wonder if your generator would play well with the Yamaha we've already purchased. If you do Facebook, PM is so we,can chat. Well, sure it does! And have they ever lived in a land based house? I mean, this week I looked at the window seat in the kitchen and discovered to my horror that one of the windows was broken. What?? How did that happen? We just do not know. And yet, it's another thing that has to be fixed. That's life. Boat or land, shit happens. And you just deal with it, get frustrated, then deal with it some more. Then enjoy the fact that you HAVE a life, and there is beauty to behold everywhere you look. Cheers to you! Loved this post. They cost about half of a Honda, you can normally save a little by checking their online site as compared to the in store price. The store will match the online price if you ask. Each unit has a 30 amp outlet that matches a standard boat power cable. Two units can be connected to provide a bigger amp load, the connect is much cleaner and straight forward as compared to the Honda's. We plug one of these into our normal boat power cable and run the entire boat except for the A/C, if battery charger is running hard and water heater is running hard one can not keep up but once these are just topping off one can handle the job. In order to run the A/C I do have to connect the second unit with the first to have enough amps to start the compressor. This works for us, if I can provide any more information let me know.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03692010952555079549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5377250274517734866.post-55784042245236976482015-12-03T11:00:16.628-04:002015-12-03T11:00:16.628-04:00I'm glad you're feeling "bloggy"...I'm glad you're feeling "bloggy" again . . . now that our season in the PNW is over, I'm looking forward to living vicariously through those of you just getting started with yours!
