Yes, there are some really thick spots... the ones with a stripe that folds into the edges and has to be tripled on top of a seam that is quadrupled might be a challenge, but I think you could work something out. Take a look at the flags you're making, maybe you'll get lucky and they won't have any bulky stripes.
